Radu Achiriloaie - Chief Operating Officer

Radu Achiriloaie is a co-founder of Oblio Telecom.

Radu is a seasoned entrepreneur dating back to 1989 when he immigrated to the United States from Romania. He has owned and operated, and bought and sold several businesses ranging from importing textiles and string instruments from Ireland to restaurant start-ups.

Radu was also a very early adopter of the internet and had started a company which sold real estate advertising on the Internet.

In 1996, together with his friend and partner Sammy M Jibrin, they founded Oblio Telecom LLP. Together they grew the business using innovative marketing strategies and developing a distribution network that access nearly 60,000 retailers in 38 states.

As the vice president of Oblio Telecom LLP, he grew the company's revenue from zero to more than $150 million in just 8 years.

In August 2005, they sold Oblio Telecom to Ventures-National, Inc. d.b.a. Titan General Holdings, Inc.

Radu Achiriloaie received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1996.
